About Moondog Groomery!
As pet owners we got tired of trying to wrestle Dakota our black lab and Luna our golden retriever into the tub just to spend another 30 minutes cleaning the mess. After talking to friends in Ankeny we learned that it’s not always easy to find a great groomer that has openings. After discovering this concept we decided to jump in with both feet. White Birch drive was our first choice because it’s close to outdoor activities around Saylorville and there are a lot of home owners on the west side that like to avoid traffic and stoplights.
Meet Antoinette, our groomer. She’s been with us from the beginning and is amazing. Dogs love her and owners love her. She is (almost) always available. Antoinette has been grooming for many years (she doesn’t want to tell us how many so we can’t guess her age).
When you come in you’ll probably meet her pup Midget who does an excellent job guarding the desk!
She’s also bi-lingual and speaks fluid Spanish.
This is our hard working front desk employee “MIDGET”. She does work for treats and it works out because we have a few of those around. Most made locally in Ankeny!
